COMES OUT THE OTHER SIDE

The full set of accounts, not a dashboard

Profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow and equity, plus the trial balance and the general ledger behind them. Every figure traces to a posted entry.

“Why did my margin drop in June?”

Materials cost rose 14% in June while revenue held steady, mostly two large supplier invoices. Your margin is still above the peer median for your industry.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Do I still need QuickBooks or Xero? +

No. This is the accounting system, not a layer on top of one. The general ledger, invoices, bills, sales tax and the statements all live here, so there is nothing to license alongside it.

What can it actually produce? +

Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow, drawn straight from the journal rather than a separate reporting copy, plus bank reconciliation, a month-end close, and a prefilled sales-tax return with the filing evidence kept immutably.

Do I need to know accounting? +

No. The bookkeeper drafts every entry and states, in plain language, why it chose what it chose. You approve. The double-entry mechanics stay underneath where they belong.

What does the AI do, and what can't it do? +

It reads the bank feed, drafts categorized entries with a confidence level, prepares invoices, runs the month-end checklist and answers questions about your books. What it cannot do is post. Approval is enforced by the system, not a setting you could switch off.

What happens at month-end? +

One guarded run. Anything unreconciled is flagged, and a readiness gate refuses to close while the trial balance does not tie. Once closed the period locks; reopening is a privileged, logged action.

Can I bring my existing books over? +

Yes. Balances and history import, so switching does not mean starting the financial year again.

Can my accountant work in it? +

Yes. They get their own login with the formal statements and the full audit trail, not a zip file at year end. Every posted entry is append-only and tamper-evident.

Is my financial data shared with my bank? +

Only what you choose to share, and only once you turn it on. You can review or revoke that consent at any time.

How does peer comparison work? +

Your numbers are grouped with similar businesses by industry and revenue band, aggregated across a minimum group size so no individual business is ever identifiable. Currently in active testing.

What does it cost? +

Ask your relationship manager. Pricing is set by your bank.
